What is Practicum Abroad?

Pursue esports STEM exploration and future career pathways in Gen.G’s HQ at the heart of Seoul.

Gen.G Practicum Abroad provides immersive exposure to diverse esports aspects and working experiences for aspiring young individuals.

Gen.G Practicum Abroad allows students to experience Business, Education, and Marketing with the Gen.G Global Academy. Students will work in groups to create deliverables during this program.

The GenG practicum was an eye opening experience that showed off rich Korean culture, the staff’s amazing work ethic and the flexibility it takes to make it in the esports industry. I was honored to be apart of the first class and hope that others can enjoy the experience as much as I did.

We were thrown into a fast-paced environment where we constantly engaged with various projects, balancing hard work with fun activities. The experience kept me busy and provided valuable learning opportunities.

As the director of UH Esports, I'm looking for global, international, and experiential activities for my students within the esports industry. Repeatedly, Gen. G has met those expectations, providing experienced industry mentorship throughout the program, assigning projects with broad real-world appeal, and fostering learning applicable to different facets of esports marketing, business operations, and education.
